I just wanted to thank all those who have been so generous and have donated to Rising Star to help their efforts in India working with those affected by Leprosy. I feel very blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life who would be so willing to contribute on my behalf. I can not thank you enough.
I leave for Asia on July 1st!! Only 2 weeks left and I have lots to do to get ready! I got a notice from the India Embassy that my passport is ready so I'll be picking that up this week. I also got all my shots up to date and got a prescription for Malaria prevention medication.
Now I need to start tackling that packing list Rising Star sent me to make sure I have everything on it... including insect repellent, toilet paper, lice shampoo (they said "just in case"), grubby work outfits.
